This paper aims to comparatively examine the religious, welfare and psychological orientation of mothers with one adolescent child versus those with more than one adolescent child that is carried out through non-experimental descriptive method. Statistical population of paper is male and female students of middle school (seventh and eighth grade) of Tehran district 2 in School year 2014-15. Purposeful sampling method is used for obtaining appropriate sample for collecting information. Thus, firstly, district 2 has been selected among all 22 districts of Tehran, and among them, 4 girl school and 4 boy schools have been singled out. Due to big size of population and limitation in access to entire population, Tabachnick & Fidell (2001) has been used for sample size. Sample size has been estimate 66 people, owing to overestimation for obtaining an appropriate sample, 70 persons are selected for final sample. Tool for data collection is two questionnaire, namely Allport’s religious orientation (1967) and Rif’s welfare and psychological questionnaire. Apparent and content validity of questionnaires have been confirmed by experts. Internal consistency for religious orientation questionnaire has been calculated 0.71 by Cronbach Alpha and retest reliability was 0.74. Welfare and psychology questionnaire has been calculated through Cronbach alpha coefficient. Data analysis has been done by inferential statistics (Chi two tests and multivariable variance analysis). Results show that religious orientation and its parameters and welfare and psychological orientation and its parameters in mothers with one adolescent child are higher than mothers with several adolescent children.
